Are you accepting new patients?

Yes!

Do adjustments hurt?

No. Although some spots might be a little sensitive in the beginning, there is no twisting, cracking, or popping involved with our technique. The Torque Release Technique is one of the newest and most effective techniques to date, and our doctor uses an FDA-certified instrument called the Integrator to administer specific adjustments to the nervous system.

Is it safe to adjust children?

Yes! The Integrator fires with the same amount of force every time, and it is safe for use on everyone! Most parents bring their children to a chiropractor to keep them healthy and keep their immune systems strong. Parents report improvement in their children with various conditions like ear infections, colic, ADHD, anxiety, depression, asthma, allergies, and much more!

Is it safe to be adjusted if I am pregnant?

Yes! Not only are our adjustments perfectly safe during pregnancy, but Dr. Alex is certified in the Webster Technique which helps prepare the body for labor and delivery.

Is it safe to be adjusted if I already had back or neck surgery?

The Torque Release Technique is one of the few chiropractic techniques that are still able to help people after they have had spinal surgery. The chiropractor can gently and methodically adjust specific vertebrae to help the body and nervous system function at their highest levels.

How long will it take for me to get better?

Every person and case is different, and the amount of care you need really depends on how your nervous system is functioning. The assessments that we complete at your first appointment will give us a better idea of what is required for your specific case. Most people first visit their local chiropractor after they’ve had years of long-standing health issues, a good sign that there are underlying concerns that we need to assess and that will take some time to correct. The earlier you begin chiropractic care the better; the longer you wait, the worse things become, and the longer they will take to resolve.

Do I have to keep going to the chiropractor forever once I’ve started?

Just because you get adjusted once, that doesn’t mean you have to get adjusted again. However, when you go to the dentist once and know what clean, healthy teeth are, you are likely to want to continue going back so you can maintain that feeling. Similarly, when you go to the gym to take care of your health, you typically want to continue exercising regularly so you can maintain the progress you’ve made.

Chiropractic care was never designed to relieve neck pain, back pain, or help with any other symptoms. It was designed to help ensure proper communication pathways from the brain to every muscle, cell, tissue, and organ in the body so we can live healthy, drug-free lives.

Do I have to wear anything specific when I go to the chiropractor?

During your regular chiropractic adjustments, any type of clothing works just fine! We do ask that you try to avoid wearing sandals, flip flops, or high heels during your appointments as these shoes will often fall off when you lay down for your adjustment.

Can I learn to adjust myself?

Absolutely NOT! Even chiropractors cannot give themselves adjustments after 7-8+ years of college. Do not let your friends or your kids walk on your back or try to crack and pop things either. It is most likely doing more harm than good.

Does it matter if I tell my chiropractor what and where my symptoms are?

It is important for you to relay any specific health concerns you may have and changes that may be happening to your chiropractor. However, this will not necessarily change where you will get a chiropractic adjustment that day. Because only a small adjustment of our nerves is based on feeling, where we feel pain is not always the best indicator of where the causes of our concerns are stemming from. With TRT, we treat the source areas (primary subluxation) responsible for the problems allowing for true correction and long-term relief. This is why our patients do not need to keep coming to see us for temporary relief from the same chronic problem over and over. True correction is the way to go!

Can you help me with a sports injury?

Yes! We help with a wide range of sports injuries and injury prevention.

Do I have to be in pain to go to the chiropractor?

Absolutely not! Our ideal patient is someone who is already healthy and looking to maintain proper wellness & function moving forward.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We accept a wide variety of insurance and will perform a complimentary benefits check at your first appointment (Just bring your insurance card & photo ID). However, the majority of our patients choose not to use insurance due to high deductibles and/or copays.

Is it okay to see a chiropractor after a car accident?

Yes, everyone should see a chiropractor after a car accident. Depending on the details of your case, we can work with auto insurance companies and injury attorneys to ensure your injuries don’t cause you financial harm.

How much does it cost?

This question is a tough one because every patient’s care and insurance are different. At your first appointment, we will do a complimentary benefits check and go over the cost of each service BEFORE the service is rendered. We never want you getting surprise bills!
